The History of the Bookmark Project

These bookmarks were created through a cooperative effort by three Minnesota businesses: Monarch Graphics, Rose Creek Anglers, and Graphics Alive, in conjunction with the Sierra Club North Star Chapter in Minnesota.

Concern for the health and well being of future generations brought the officers of these three companies together to raise questions about our use of coal. Working together on several business projects led to many conversations about our love for outdoor activities and environmental threats that affect us all.

We hope you enjoy using our bookmarks, talk about their messages with your friends, and support and encourage programs that reduce emissions from coal-burning power plants.
